Route:Turkey - Iran (Maku, Julfa, Tabriz, Qazvin,Tehran, Kashan, Isfahan, Yazd, Kerman, Bam, Zahedan) -Pakistan.

From EUROPE TO SUB CONTINENTAL ASIA: 

 Travelers with adventurous bent have been following this classic overland route from Europe to sub continental Asia for centuries. 
 {A month is the minimum time needed to do it justice}.
Turkey – Jolfa -Maku

Maku makes a pleasant  introduction on the way to Jolfa and Kandovan ( the village built carved stones 850 years ago ), before heading for a day in historic  Qazvin ( set in silk road ) then head into the Alamut , to walk  among the ruined Castles  of Assasssins . 

Tehran _ Pakistan

Tehran is end rout and a start point to continue.

Spend three days in Tehran seeing the museums, then head south for two days in Kashan and Abyaneh. Bus it to Isfahan where you'll need at least three days to explore its history, and then head off to Shiraz, where you explore magnificent Perspolis . You could spend a night in Abarqu en route to Yazd, where three days should include a trip to the historic towns of Meybod and Kharanq , plus the spectacular Zoroastrian pilgrimage site at chak chak .

Splurge on a night in the restored Caravanserai Zein – o- din on the way to Kerman, where three days will be enough to see Mahan and the "New Arg" at Rayan , before stopping  for  a night in Bam  to see what  remains of  the Arg . Zahedan will detain you only as long as you need to prepare for the long trip to Quetta (Pakistan). 
 
 

Follow in the footsteps on hippies of old, crossing the Iranian plateau from the fringes of Europe to the edge of the sub continent. En route  you'll absorb  and  appreciate Iran's diversity , this 4420 km  travels passing through rocky  mountain gorges , green hillsides , the grand cities of central Iran and the great expanse of the  south east.
